I thought my son L. (born 11/05) was g...Hi Eunice,<br /><br />I thought my son L. (born 11/05) was going to be the last kid on earth to be potty-trained! Seriously, we were going bonkers because he is very verbal and he clearly knew when he needed to go potty. We tried the Elmo potty video, the mandatory once an hour potty attempt, bribes, etc. NOTHING worked... until he turned 3 yrs, 3 months. Something happened then and he was trying to go just like the other boys at preschool, staying dry longer, etc. Of course he would still not tell us when he needed to go, but if the teachers made him, he'd do it. And we were potty trained within a matter of weeks (less than 1 month). Seriously, the hubs and I are still amazed.<br /><br />I really believe every kid has their timing and I totally get how frustrated you are.
